Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University SMBBMUL Larkana, Sindh established on July 9, 2009. So It is a leading public university in medicine, nursing, pharmacy, and allied health sciences. In the early 1970s, there were only two medical colleges in Sindh, one in Karachi and the other in Jamshoro. After this, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr. Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto who belonged to Larkana city had a vision that there should be a medical college in this area and he announced a medical college in the same city called Chandka Medical College.
