Kinnaird College was founded in 1913 by Xenana and the Bible Medical Mission. And when she started college classes at Kinnaird Christian Girls High School in Lahore. The founders wanted to give Punjabi Christian women the opportunity to acquire professional qualifications as teachers. So the first principal was John McDonald. From 1913 to 1922, this college was the only women’s liberal arts college in Punjab. So in her early years, college life was designed primarily for Christian students, and after graduation, many students found employment in the mission school network. But the popularity of missionary schools among non-Christian families, the emphasis on English language education, and the opportunity to study with British and American teachers demanded the kind of college-trained graduate teachers. Merit Lists for Undergraduate & Postgraduate Programs
Fee must be deposited in the Bank of Punjab located in College campus for Undergraduate program and for Postgraduate programs in Askari Bank, Shahrah-e-Aiwan-e-Tijarat Branch from January 24, 2022 to January 27, 2022(10:00 am to 02:00 pm). The last date to submit dues for selected applicants is January 27, 2022 . Candidates who fail to deposit their dues within the due date will forfeit their right to admission.

Kinnaird College for Women Admission Merit Lists 2022
Kinnaird College for Women (KCW) is a university located in Lahore, Pakistan. It is a women’s liberal arts university. Kennard met Xenana in 1913 through the Bible and the Healing Mission. But in 1919, the Presbyterian Mission Church and the Church Mission Society joined a consortium to fund and manage the college. So in 1926, it moved to its current campus on Jail Road, where it continued to grow over the years. By 1939, the college had grown into a 20-acre (81,000-meter) campus.
The college is named after Mary Jane Conard, co-founder of YWCA and a great philanthropist of her time. What is it now in the early 20th century when this university was affiliated with Kniard High School? In 2002, the college was designated a government degree institution. And the management handed it over to the Kinard College Association. The Board of Governors manages its affairs.
But in 1928 Isabella became the principal of McNair College. So McNair said women’s education should be mentally equal to men’s and encouraged alumni to be active in public life. But During the 1930s, admission standards, faculty/student ratio, extracurricular activities, and schedule of fees distinguished Kniard as one of the most prestigious women’s colleges in the region. Population figures have also now shifted to English from a leading women’s college, with the majority of students coming from middle-class Hindu families. But she sees education as an important step in arranging a good marriage.

After the partition in 1947, the Punjab Senate University decided to make Urdu a medium of instruction and examination instead of English for higher education. Despite this change, Kinnaird continued to offer higher education to women in neonatal Pakistan and included science courses, typing, nursing, and social work in her curriculum. Although the partition has significantly changed the organization of students, with Muslims, the minority in Kinnaird before 1947 has now become a large majority. In 1972, the Pakistani government nationalized all private schools and colleges, including Kinnaird. In 2002, Kinnaird College issued a charter to degree-granting institutions and the Board of Governors, which was established to run its administration.
