But The college is affiliated with the University of Health Sciences (UHS). It is registered with the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council. AFMDC is a project of Sitara Group of Industries. Its annual quota for admission in MBBS is 100 seats provided by PMDC. It establishes in 2012.
The college ranks 19th in the list of new medical colleges registered by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council and the Ministry of National Regulation and Services in December 2012 under the Pakistan People’s Party.
